When something gets stuck in your head!

Recently I heard someone say.  You can build the Church and draw in the people but it takes Stewardship to keep them.  I cannot get that out of my head for some reason.   Wait I know why because in the series I just finished Becoming a Contagious Christian they said you want to draw people in rather than force yourself in.  But the stories of your experiences make them want to have an experience of their own.  So find a way to talk about your expiernces without being too intrusive and it being unwanted.  Let’s start standing up and telling people that our relationship with God and the things he has done for us is worth it all. Have a wonderful day Jocelyn

Slacking

So I get into the groove and boom I slack on writing.  So here is what has been going on lately.  I am moving along in Greek and Intro to Chaplainacy.  With those two classes, work and Glow (the women’s ministry I started in my church) doing live videos on a bible study we are doing I feel like time is passing me by.  I need to concentrate on one thing at a time.  I have been to a couple of amazing concerts lately with my concert girls Kristie and Sharon.  I truly love how music can speak to my soul at times.  The most recent concert this one guy that was speaking said people need to allow Jesus to use them.  Then the next day I read the most dangerous prayer anyone say is “here I am God use me”.  Really two days in a row that simple saying pops out at me. I said use me Lord a few times lately and he has.  First time I said use me he put on my heart to start the women’s ministry and with him and a little push from my mentor Renee I started it.  Second time is a little personal but he

Deception

I have kept my mouth shut on this subject because I personally do not want to get into a debate with people and their opinions I am just stating mine.  You don’t have to agree with me as I don’t have to agree with you and this will probably be the only time I post something somewhat political.  I personally don’t agree with all the dang protesting something I was brought up to respect.   First, I will always stand for the anthem out of respect for the men and women who have fought (like my Grandpa Aragon) and continue to fight for our freedom here in America. Now there has been people around us at Lions games that sit silently in their protest.  They don’t distract me, they have never spewed hate when I have stood.   Second, part of the song that we don’t sing as there is much more to the song, is:   O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation; Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
